Township Establishment projects:
Macroplan is also very proud of various Township Establishment projects of which 3 have been completed very recently and others are still in process of completion. Special mention must also be made of the Hakskeenspan project in the Mier area, Dawid Kruiper Local Municipality and below follows a summary of some of our exceptional projects:
Lethabo Park
9. Completed: Project Management and Planning related to the expansion and partial formalisation of Lethabo Park Community (Roodepan) consisting of 1677 residential properties on the Farm Roodepan No. 70.0, Kimberley RD, Erf 15089, Kimberley and Erf 17725, Kimberley, Sol Plaatje Local Municipality.
Phokwane Local Municipality
10. Completed: Project Management and Planning related to the establishment of various land units, including partial formalisation in Pampierstad, consisting of 18 residential properties on Erf 5063, Pampierstad and Erf 5064, Pampierstad, Phokwane Local Municipality. In Process: Project Management and Planning related to the establishment of various land units in Jan Kempdorp, consisting of 37 residential properties on Portion 42 of the Farm Guldenskat No. 36, Phokwane Local Municipality.
Kai !Garib Local Municipality
11. Completed: Planning, compilation and formalisation of Maraba Community (Kakamas), consisting of 89 single residential properties, on Erf 218, Kakamas, Kai !Garib Local Municipality.
Dawid Kruiper Local Municipality.
12. Completed: Undertaking of town planning processes for the establishment of Hakskeenpan Events and Tourism-Related Development on behalf of the Department of Economic Development and Tourism, to accommodate among others the Bloodhound SSC Project in the Dawid Kruiper Local Municipality.
Kai !Garib Local Municipality.
13. In process: The planning and formalisation of the Blaauwskop 500 erf and Gamakor 1500 erf projects in the Kai !Garib Local Municipality.
Siyathemba Local Municipality
14. In process: Town Planning project for the expansion of Prieska – Township Establishment of 500-600 residential units for the community of Prieska, Siyathemba Local Municipality.
Khi Solar One
15. Green Energy Projects (Solar and Wind) in the Northern Cape Province: Macroplan has been involved with 75 different applications for Green Energy Projects throughout the province, including applications for rezoning and long term lease consents. We have been involved with the Khi Solar One project, about 20km west of Upington, which is now one of the largest Solar CSP projects in the Southern Hemisphere.
